What is Gamez and what is it for?
Gamez is a Holochain app for making and playing board games with other people. Players run it themselves and share a game space, with the state of the board kept in step between them as they play.
Gamez is a Holochain app for board games. It is developed in the open in a public repository, where the game logic, the interface and the packaging scripts live together, and each release ships the whole app as a single gamez.webhapp file.
The idea is that you make the game as well as play it. Inside a shared space you lay out a board and place pieces and cards from the app's own game libraries, and you control what players are allowed to move or change while a game is running. Games you have built are kept in a library so they can be reopened and played again, and other people join the same space to take part.
A simple example is a two-player game: each person runs the app on their own computer, joins the same game, and moves pieces on the shared board while changes show up for the other player as they happen. The repository README covers running two connected nodes, and the releases page documents packaging the app.
