Mycelix-Mail-hApp is a Holochain app for email that was designed around sender reputation instead of message scanning. The project's README describes it as a replacement for content-based spam filtering: rather than inspecting what a message says, it scores how far the sender can be trusted and keeps low-trust mail out of the inbox. The same README says the app reuses the project's own Mycelix Adaptive Trust Layer for those scores.

In human terms, the design puts the mailbox on the person's own device rather than on a provider's server, and encrypts each message body with the recipient's public key. A reader sets a minimum trust level for their inbox, and messages from senders below that level are filtered before they download or open, so unwanted mail is meant to be dropped at that point rather than examined afterwards.

The README works through one example: a bulk sender whose behaviour scores low is given a trust score of about 0.05, while a trusted colleague scores about 0.85, so an inbox filtered at a modest threshold hides the first and shows the second.
