What is Mycelix-Health and what is it for?

Mycelix-Health is a Holochain app for health records in which the patient, rather than an institution, holds the medical history. Its repository describes the project as decentralized healthcare with formal differential privacy, and lists patient profiles, provider credentials, encounters and lab results, prescriptions, consent, clinical trials and insurance claims among its core parts. It belongs to a wider effort called Mycelix, whose repository organises Holochain work into domain clusters and lists health as covering clinical care, consent, diagnostics, imaging, monitoring, pharmacy and records.

The idea in human terms is that your health history should travel with you. Sharing is meant to be chosen rather than assumed: consent directives are granular, time-bound and revocable, so access can be granted to one part of a record for a set period; sensitive fields such as mental health notes and genetic data are encrypted individually; and access requires either the patient's own verification, an active consent matching the request, or an emergency override with a recorded justification. Every access attempt is logged.

One concrete example from the repository: a patient could let a specialist see lab results for a set period without exposing the rest of the record, since consent is scoped and the more sensitive categories are encrypted separately. The repository is the place to start — its Quick Start documents building the zomes with Nix and Holochain tooling and packing the app for a conductor, including the exact commands.
