What is BiteRelay and what is it for?

BiteRelay is a food delivery project that connects customers, stores and drivers to coordinate orders. It aims to let those participants arrange a delivery without a middleman.

BiteRelay is described by its maintainers as food delivery on Holochain without a middleman. The project is built around coordinating a meal order among customers, stores and drivers.

In a typical order, a customer places the order, the store accepts and prepares it, and a driver picks it up. The customer can then confirm that it arrived.

For example, a customer can order from a store, have a driver collect the meal, and confirm delivery. The project’s development notes explain who handles each step; its deployment guide describes how the application runs in production.
