What is Mementer and what is it for?
Mementer is a Holochain app for making chronograms: cyclical pictures of time that you draw as wheels instead of lines. It exists as an experiment in giving people and teams tooling that matches the cycles they actually work and live in.
Mementer is a chronogram maker: a Holochain app for drawing time as a wheel. Its own README introduces it as an experiment in making it easy to create cyclical representations of time, with many different kinds of groupings. Where a calendar flattens time into minutes, hours, days, months and years, Mementer is meant to give you another shape to work with.
That shape is the point. You build wheels of arbitrary unit sizes at whatever scale suits the thing you are tracking, so the picture of the cycle matches the cycle itself rather than the grid of a planner. The project frames this as a way of reflecting how people already embody and depict time, and of letting them depict it differently.
The maintainers suggest a few concrete places to start: team process cycles, simple streak trackers for personal or group habits, and journaling aimed at longer stretches of flow. Mementer runs as a native desktop build or as an applet inside the Moss runtime, and its source, setup notes and example commands are in the project repository.
