What is Map Holons and what is it for?
Map Holons is a Holochain data-layer project for the Memetic Activation Platform (MAP). It provides a way for MAP applications to store, retrieve, and query self-describing pieces of information called holons.
The project describes Map Holons as the foundational layer of the Memetic Activation Platform (MAP), providing storage, retrieval, and querying for self-describing, active holons.
In plain terms, it is a data layer for information that carries descriptions of its own structure and can be stored and queried. The repository presents this layer as a foundation for MAP applications.
As a local development example, the README describes starting two connected nodes with their own user interfaces. The repository links to MAP Core Developer Docs for architecture and contributor information.
