What is holochain-ble-demo and what is it for?
holochain-ble-demo is a Holochain test project exploring whether conductors can exchange data over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). It exists to test a way for Holochain nodes to share data over a nearby Bluetooth connection.
holochain-ble-demo is a test project exploring Bluetooth Low Energy as a way for Holochain conductors to exchange data. Its repository includes a test DNA, a conductor program, and test code.
In plain terms, the project investigates whether two Holochain nodes can pass shared data over a Bluetooth connection. Its documentation treats sending data and discovering nearby peers as separate networking tasks.
The project describes an example with one computer running Windows and another running Ubuntu, where one node writes notes and the other checks whether it can retrieve them. The hardware guide says those tests have not yet been run; the README and guide explain the setup and evidence to record.
