What is holochain-scaffolding and what is it for?

holochain-scaffolding is a developer tool that generates the starting code for a new Holochain app, producing a project skeleton a builder can design on top of. It is used at the beginning of a build, so that a Holochain app begins from a working structure rather than an empty folder.

holochain-scaffolding is a scaffolding tool for Holochain, the platform developers build peer-to-peer applications on. Starting a Holochain app by hand means laying out several moving parts before any feature work begins — the application's structure, its backend logic, and a frontend to talk to it. A scaffolding tool writes that arrangement into place so a builder can move straight to deciding what their app does.
