What is Holo Hosting App and what is it for?

Holo Hosting App is a Holochain app that gave app providers and hosts a shared space to arrange the hosting of apps on Holo. App providers listed their apps and hosting preferences so an app became available for hosting, while hosts declared which app they intended to host, kept private signed service logs, and could compile invoices for the providers they served.

The app was developed in the Holo-Host organisation as the packaged Holochain logic behind a hosting app for Holo, with a companion repository holding the matching user interface. Its own README recorded the project as "Closed-Alpha" at the stage of "early development and testing", which is the status a reader should keep in mind for everything below.

It is easiest to picture as a matchmaking workspace for two kinds of participant. Someone with an app writes down what the app is and how they want it hosted, so it becomes available for hosting and a domain name is registered for it.
